We’re excited to host a special networking event, Have Your Cake and Eat It Too, right here at Park Regency Thornton on Wednesday, February 21st, from 1:00-3:00PM. In addition to enjoying some sweet treats (which everyone deserves in the middle of winter), visitors will have the chance to meet and mingle with our senior care professionals, including our Executive Director Ed Seiler and our Health Services Director, Mary Stewart, BSN, RN.
We hope you’ll join us and find out more about our mission of inspired service—and what we’re doing to make an impact on our residents, their families, and the community we serve. Here’s a little bit about Mary, and what she enjoys most about our senior living community.
For Mary Stewart, tapioca pudding tastes like home. Growing up, she’d make it for her dad because it was his favorite and just the two of them would eat it.
At Park Regency Thornton, where Mary serves as Health Services Director, she wants residents to experience that same feeling of home, love and connection.
Park Regency Thornton Assisted Living and Memory Care offers an inviting, active community in the north Denver suburbs. “As a faith-based community, service is our top priority,” she explained. “We understand a new phase in life can be a leap of faith—for you and your family. That’s why our devoted team offers 24-hour care, located in Thornton.”
Part of Bethesda Senior Living Communities, Park Regency Thornton supports the social, spiritual and physical health of our residents. Residents here discover personalized care, safe and secure living, and enriching activities to make life’s next phase comfortable, active and, most of all, enjoyable.
Mary and the rest of our team believe in “inspired care.” For Mary, that means making a difference in seniors’ lives.
She also enjoys being part of Bethesda Senior Living Communities because “it’s a nonprofit that gives back.” Thanks to our organization’s structure, its duty is to residents rather than shareholders. “Community is the cornerstone of our mission,” Mary said. “As such, we’re committed to providing excellent care and selflessly serving our residents and our communities.”
For those researching assisted living options, Mary advises visiting more than one time to get a feel for the community. She thinks BSLC is a great option, “Because we make a difference in people’s lives.”
Join Mary and learn more about Park Regency Thornton at our upcoming “Have Your Cake and Eat It Too” networking event, a celebration of desserts and a chance to mingle with area senior living professionals.
